Soccer Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Increases Reward for Missing Canine in Mexican Territory to $$20k
Wales athlete Ramsey has increased the bounty for details about the missing pet Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now is with Pumas UNAM in the capital, revealed that the beagle was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state area.
The beagle, who vanished on 9 October, was had on a GPS collar, and Ramsey published a exact coordinates of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of information regarding our pet Halo please contact us. Significant bounty for finding her. We are all hoping she's ok and can be back to our side quickly," the athlete wrote on Instagram.
Earlier Bounty and Emotional Appeals
Ramsey initially revealed that Halo had vanished 14 days prior and has since shared multiple photos of the cherished pet on his social media account.
A $10,000 incentive was initially offered, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a seven days, the player and his family increased the reward.
"Our only wish is Halo back," he stated in a further request on social media after the elderly pet was lost.
The most recent image upload is a monochrome snapshot of the beagle snoozing, her head resting in the bend of the athlete's arm, with the message: "What I wouldn't give to hold you once more sweet Halo."
Household's Worries and Context
The footballer has also posted a message from his wife Colleen on social media mentioning they have some "important queries" surrounding the incident and worry the household "could possibly not receive answers".
"We still are still searching for Halo. I fear we ever will," his wife's update read.
The Welsh skipper joined Mexico's first division club Club Universidad Nacional recently and made his inaugural match in Liga MX in August.
The Caerphilly-born player is the first well-known British Isles player to play in the Mexican league.
